I am a Southern girl born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, married for 38 years to my best friend who is a Greenville, SC native. We have lived in both cities and currently we are in the upstate of South Carolina. We have one adult son living and working in my hometown. I love the beach, flowers, biking, swimming, watching college football and most of all studying and teaching God’s word.

I hope to inspire and encourage readers with stories and devotions gleaned from my life as a wife, mother, daughter, friend, former banker, exporting specialist, school teacher and Marketing Director for Chick-fil-A. All these titles tell you what I have done, but they do not define who I am. My identity is in Jesus Christ, the “hope within me.” So, I invite you to join me as I walk day to day seeking His will and doing life with Him.
